Changes to Assessment Arrangements in line with the New Curriculum
The central focus of assessment arrangements will be to ensure learners understand how they are performing and what they need to do next. There will be a renewed emphasis on assessment for learning as an essential and integral feature of learning and teaching.
As a result, new online personalised assessments are being introduced starting with Procedural maths.

Pupils from year 2 to year 6 will undertake national tests in reading and reasoning in May 2019.
